Spend the afternoon in the company of two of Denmark's most talented jazz musicians; pianist Henrik Gunde and Peter Vuust on double bass, playing songs from the standard jazz repertoire.Henrik Gunde is one of the country's most seasoned musicians, fitting into all formats and mastering most styles. He has been featured on more than 100 records and with international jazz stars such as Tim Hagans, Mal Waldron, Ted Curson, and Jukkis Uotila. Tilbring eftermiddagen i selskab med to af Danmarks absolut dygtigste jazzmusikere; pianist Henrik Gunde og Peter Vuust på kontrabas, som vil spille numre fra jazzens standardrepertoire.Henrik Gunde er en af landets bedst spillende musikere, passer ind i alle formater og behersker de fleste stilarter. Og så er han begavet med et sjældent formidabelt swing. Det mærkes tydeligt at Gunde har studeret de gamle mestres rytmik og tilgang til musikken, men uden at sætte sin egen originalitet over styr. Senest er han sammen med Jakob Munck blevet nomineret til en Grammy i kategorien særudgivelser for albummet ”Frit efter… Carl Nielsen”. Gunde er også kendt for mange år som pianist i DR's bigband.   Peter Vuust er professor ved Aarhus Universitet og Det jyske Musikkonservatorium, leder af ”Center for Music in the Brain” og er derudover en af landets mest benyttede ”side-men”. Han har spillet på mere end 100 plader og med internationale jazzstjerner som Tim Hagans, Mal Waldron, Ted Curson, Jukkis Uotila og mange flere. Han er kendt for sin groovy og lydhøre backing samt et ekstremt melodiøst solospil. Peter har desuden været nomineret til en DMA for cd’en September Song.
