New musical territories are discovered when Danish and international musicians meet on stage at the one day festival Ujazz. Acclaimed soloists and established groups create great artistic moments, and new constellations and experimenting compositions seduce and surprise the audience. Ujazz returns to the roots of jazz while at the same time creating something new. The essence of jazz is improvisation and musical change, and that is what you get when Ujazz combines jazz with sounds ranging from electronica to tango.
