Carol Leslie, NE Ohio's very own Scottish jazz vocalist, makes her debut at Pub Bricco, with an incredible ensemble that's sure to appeal, spanning the broad spectrum of jazz, blues, R & B, gospel, and contemporary.
From Edinburgh, Scotland, with her elegant and versatile delivery, Carol embraces the music of Billie Holiday, Carmen McCrae, Sarah Vaughan, Cleo Laine, Bonnie Raitt, Amy Winehouse, to name but a few. She auditioned out of 2500 auditionees and was chosen to represent Scotland on Independent Television's 'Rising Stars,' broadcast live throughout Europe and the UK, and on BBC Radio's 'Debut.' She delivers torch songs that reach the heart with her blue-eyed soul, appears in jazz clubs in NE Ohio, at country clubs, black tie events, intimate house parties, and fine dining restaurants, eg., Night Town, The Standard, Music Box Supper Club, etc. Her CD, 'Live at The Bop Stop!' will also be available at the show. ...

Eric Everett, drummer, has nearly four decades of drumming experience. He has studied privately at Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory with Dr George Kiteley, performed in Case Western Reserve University's small group Jazz and Big Band ensembles under Paul Ferguson, and, at CWRU, he participated in the Tri-C Jazz Fest. He leads "Eric Everett Jazz," and "EEJ Firelands Trio," and is a sideman in "Jazz Exotica." Eric has also performed with jazz vocalists, Leah Natale and Evelyn Wright. EEJ regularly performs at NightTown - award winning jazz restaurant in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Duncan Crooks, jazz pianist and composer for over 30 years, began as a teenager in R & B/Fusion bands in Cleveland, Ohio, and Los Angeles, California. He studied music and arranging at Capital University in Columbus, and while there, won the Diversified Music Publishers Award for "Best College-level Composer." He then attended the Berklee College of Music, in Boston, where he graduated summa cum laude. Duncan has continuously played with the finest jazz musicians and vocalists NE Ohio has to offer, in addition to touring with The Glenn Miller Orchestra, performing with Kenny Burrell, Nick Brignola, and other luminaries.
Jeff Slater, bassist (electric and upright), earned his bachelor's degree of music in music theory and French horn at Baldwin-Wallace University, prior to master's work in classical and jazz music theory at the University of Wisconsin, at Madison and Truman State University. He is well versed in all styles of jazz, R & B, rock, and world music.
