Western Reserve Big Band is a sub group of the Western Reserve Community Band which was founded in 1997. The Western Reserve Big Band has been performing in North East Ohio since 2011. We play a variety of big band arrangements ranging from tradition/dixieland, big band era classics, Great American Songbook, pop, rock, jazz, and contemporary music. Our folder includes tunes from the Kenton, Ellington, Basie, Miller, Dorsey, and other big bands. We can cover the gamut from the traditional dixieland Royal Garden Blues to Weather Reports Birdland and music by Gordon Goodwin who writes for the Big Phat Band...

We play for festivals, community events, concerts, country club, retirement and birthday parties, back rooms, fund raisers, assisted living facilities, and private events. We can play anywhere that calls for dinner and dancing music or a big band concert featuring music from the 30's through the 90's.
