The Troy Alabama Arts Council presents the internationally acclaimed jazz duo of Peter H. Bloom, flute, and John Funkhouser, piano, performing on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm for the Arts Council’s annual membership party, free and open to the public, at Johnson Center for the Arts, 300 E Walnut St, Troy, AL 36081. Bloom and Funkhouser have been praised for “infectious brio” (The New York City Jazz Record), called “master musicians” (CultureJazz.France), and hailed as “a fine partnership that brings some serious spark to these tunes” (AllAboutJazz.com).
