Berkshires Jazz' "Jazz Prodigy" series presents young artists who have the potential to become significant figures in jazz. This year’s entry, Zoe Obadia, demonstrates such promise and has already achieved great honors.

Now a senior at Glen Ridge (N.J.) High School, Zoe has attended programs at Jazz House Kids in Montclair, New Jersey, where she has played in the award-winning big band as well as small combos. In this free concert, made possible by the Friends of the Athenaeum, Zoe will be performing –for the first time— with the Berkshires Jazz Trio, comprising Andy Jaffe on piano, Dan Broad on bass, and Connor Meehan, drums.
