Michael Moss' Ensemble Bows at Bridge Street Theatre

Working with New York’s finest musicians and improvisors, Moss has extended the form of jazz and orchestral music through his original compositions for his latest group, Ensemble Bows.

Ensemble Bows is comprised of one violin, one cello, acoustic bass, piano and himself on Bb and bass clarinet for this performance at Bridge Street Theatre. By undertaking an in-depth study of harmony, orchestration and the 12 tone music of Arnold Schoenberg during the pandemic, Moss realizes his long-standing desire to bring orchestral elements into his realm.

Michael Moss performs his compositions, Superstring, Abyss, Elegy for Danny, and Ain Soph for his new group Bows Ensemble for Strings and Piano.
