The Amsterdam Real Book started off as a project to build a bridge between the new up-and-coming scene of improvisers in Amsterdam and the internationally known New Dutch Swing scene. This year we're building a bridge between the impro scene and more mainstream players, and William Parker will lead a group of Amsterdam's new, best and brightest improvisers.
This year’s bike tour – that’s right, you cycle from venue to venue - will explore the city’s underground stages in Amsterdam North. Three venues, three concerts.
