Basklarinet Festijn Special at Bimhuis

The Basklarinet Festijn celebrates the beauty of the bass clarinet, the characterful, versatile instrument with its remarkable sonorous sound. The festival emphasizes the music of today, from contemporary classical to jazz. On this special evening, six outstanding (bass) clarinetists will perform in small ensembles and tutti finishes, played on bass clarinet as well as contrabass clarinet, basset horn, clarinet and ash clarinet. The six (bass) clarinetists are: Louis Sclavis, Rudi Mahall, Fie Schouten, Tobias Klein, Oguz Büyükberber, Lothar Ohlmeier.
