Onder sublieme begeleiding van gitaar, toetsen en drums voert het Meral Polat Trio je
mee op een meanderende reis langs hedendaagse Anatolische folk, Koerdische klanken
en de wortels van de blues. Aards, hoopvol en zielsnijdend.

Met eigen teksten en gedichten uit de poëtische nalatenschap van haar vader- Ali Ihsan
Polat- onderneemt het trio een louterende zoektocht en vertolken ze de liefde, vitaliteit
en melancholie van het hart.

Ez kî me (Wie ben ik) vertelt universele verhalen die vandaag een nieuwe betekenis
krijgen.
