The Los Angeles Jazz Society Mal Sands Vibbraphone Summit is a event that was organized by the late Mal Sands and has been going strong for some 18 years. It features an array of whose whos along with several new and up and coming vibbraphone players, each getting a chance to showcase there talents by playing a Jazz Tune with The Dave Mackay Trio. It is a classy event filled with and afternoon of Great Vibes, all in honoring this year's 2011 Honoree, Nick Mancini. BE THERE
