Guitarist/bassist/composer Kevin Jackson has been taking the Smooth Jazz industry by storm since 2012, performing around the United States and overseas with artists such as Sheila E, Wyclef, El DeBarge and Maysa, to name a few.

Jackson's mix of original compositions and acoustic renditions take his listeners on a rhythmic journey touching on Rock, Latin, Contemporary Christian, Jazz, and soulful R&B sounds along the way.

Jackson is often thought of as a “quiet giant” due to his humble and quiet nature and early roles as a sideman. But, once Jackson stepped to center stage as leader, it was easy to see this was where he belongs . His live shows set him apart from the rest with uptempo head bouncing tunes, humorous schoolboy stories and special treats from an exceptional backup band. In 2012, Jackson embarked on a career to record his first album, Stories In Color, which was met with great critical acclaim. His sophomore offering, The Mirrored Truth garnished the single “Favorite Way”, which was considered for a Grammy. His song “We Got Us” from his third album Full Circle was also considered for a Grammy in 2018. He successfully recorded his fourth smooth jazz album entitled Elevation in August 2021. Two singles, “Elevation", featuring Judah Sealy, and “Druid Hill Park” are currently streaming on all platforms and in rotation on Watercolors, Sirius XM Radio. His single, “KJ’s Vybe” was released in April 2023 ahead of his soon to be released fifth studio album in 2024. Kevin’s newest single “Be Free” can be currently heard on Watercolors and all streaming platforms.
