Adam Shead's 'adiaphora Music': A Master's Recital at Duderstadt Video Studio

The world premiere of Adam Shead's newest multi-media suite 'Adiaphora Music' for mixed chamber orchestra takes place in the Duderstadt Video Studio, 2281 Bonisteel Blvd on Friday December 8th. Each of the seven movements of this suite is dedicated to Adam Shead's musical heroes. The suite explores ideas of cultural memory, tradition, aesthetic juxtaposition, and individualism.

This performance will be a multi-tiered representation of the aesthetic, composition, and improvisational concepts developed during Adam's time as Fellow of the Jazz & Contemporary Improvisation department and The Center for World Performance Studies....
