About
Beartrap is a "leaderless" quintet based in Southeastern Michigan. The band's focus is on original composition and improvisation. Beartrap is heavily influenced by Ornette Coleman, The Bad Plus, Tim Berne, and a host of other contemporary artists from all walks of music. Beartrap features Jason Didia and Tristan Cappel (woodwinds), David Dunham (guitar and electronics) Jeff Cuny (bass) and Stuart Lyons (drums). Tonight they release their first album. Cover: $10 (includes a copy of the CD).
