Ciao!jazz Featuring The Funkalleros at Ciao Amici's Restaurant

Intimate monthly concerts with a speakeasy vibe in the lower level of Ciao Amici’s restaurant in downtown Brighton. The Funkalleros: Organ trios were a popular (and still are!) type of jazz ensemble for club and bar settings in the 1950s and 1960s, performing a blues-based style of jazz that incorporated elements of R&B, blues, and gospel — “soul jazz”. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. concerts; two-sets with a very short break. There will be a "cash-only" (no cards) bar to enjoy a beverage during the two-set concert. Feel free to go upstairs for a fabulous dinner and drinks before or after the show, if you like).
