Monday, September 17, 2018 The Paul Keller Orchestra Roars Back To Life and begins their 30th season of presenting great big band jazz to Ann Arbor music lovers! Thanks to Zal Gaz Grotto for providing PKO a stable, permanent home! Showtime at Zal Gaz Grotto is 7-10 PM. PKO's guest jazz band tonight is Saline Big Band; SBB will play a 30 minute set on PKO's break. Come enjoy the fun, swinging, good vibes, and celebrate this important milestone with your home-town jazz heroes - all year long!

Special tunes tonight include Tall Corn (Keller's anthem to Autumn), Early Autumn (Woody Herman), Duke Ellington's The Big Drag (with respect for those affected by hurricane Florence), and the debut Keller's new composition Perspicacity (definition: a heightened sense of awareness)....
