Lenny Swanson (bs) and Nathan Flanders (pn) have played jazz together in the Ann Arbor Area for nearly ten years. Developing their style and technique at Community High School, York University, University of Oregon, and University of Michigan, these young professionals bring a cool, scintillating vibe to the Vinology Wine Bar and Restaurant. This duet honors the standards of Horace Silver, Duke Ellington, Wayne Shorter, and others with evocative solos, seamless rhythmic communication, and unique harmonic interpretation.
