The Marcus Elliot Quartet consists of young, Detroit-based artists that have a strong passion for expression through improvisation and composition. Marcus Elliot(sax), Michael Malis(piano), Ben Rolston(bass), and Stephen Boegehold(drums), have crafted a very strong sound the past 2 years by playing together on a weekly basis at Detroit's own Cliff Bells every Tuesday night. They have used this weekly gig as an outlet for workshopping compositions and improvisational ideas.
