Each Friday and Saturday (7-10 pm) there is live jazz at the Fresco Café and Pub (www.frescocafeandpub.com), located right off the square in Fayetteville. Dinner seating is available from 4:30 pm until 9:30 pm; a $1 cover is charged from 6:45 pm until 9:30 pm. Featured performers are identified under "Events" in the "More" drop-down menu near the top of the venue's Facebook page. Performing on the first weekend of August are the Walter Savage Trio (Friday with Savage on upright bass) and the Matt Smith Trio (Saturday with Smith on guitar).
