On Tuesday, 18 April 2017 (7:30 pm) a jazz concert (free, open to the public) will be presented in the Fine Arts Center on the main campus of the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Gary Meggs (creator of UAM's unique Jazz Studies program) will direct the school's award-winning Jazz Band I, which will perform nine selections. (In recent years the band received national recognition at the highly competitive Elmhurst Jazz Festival and toured the People's Republic of China.) A campus map is provided at uamont.edu.
