From 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday, 12 June 2015, Jonesboro's 501 Steakhouse will present free, live jazz by Top Shelf Jazz, an accomplished ensemble which usually includes Ken Carroll (sax, EWI, etc.), Don Bowyer (trombone), Alex Ditto (guitar), Corey Emerson (upright bass, vocals), and Craig Collison (drums). Carroll serves as Jazz Studies Director at Arkansas State University (astate.edu), where Bowyer is a professor of music and dean for the College of Fine Arts.
