From 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday, 5 June 2015 there will be free, live jazz at Jonesboro's 501 Steakhouse. Performing is Top Shelf Jazz: Ken Carroll (EWI), Don Bowyer (trombone), Alex Ditto (guitar), Corey Emerson (upright bass, vocals), Craig Collison (drums). Carroll serves as Jazz Studies Director for Arkansas State University (astate.edu), where Bowyer is a professor of music and dean for the College of Fine Arts.
