Five-time Grammy nominee Joe Jackson performs a concert of selections from his new album The Duke, a collection of songs made famous by Duke Ellington and rearranged in Joe’s unique style, along with his own classics. Best known for the hits “Is She Really Going Out with Him?,” “I’m the Man,” “Steppin’ Out,” “Breaking Us in Two,” “It’s Different for Girls,” and “You Can’t Get What You Want (Till You Know What You Want),” Joe’s body of work over a three decade career is eclectic and fiercely individual. He has written film scores, a symphony, and a book. The Duke is only his second album of non-original material, after 1981’s Jumpin’ Jive.
