Leonieke Scheuble, a phenomenal pianist, organist, and composer, brings her “Generations of Jazz" group for a night of original compositions and tributes to the hard bop masters. Joining her on drums is her father, Nick, and bassist, Bill Crow, who at 97 years old, is still an active performer. A recipient of the New Jersey Governor’s Award for “Exceptional Promise in Music”, HotHouse magazine’s “Best Up and Coming Young Artist” and a “Youth in Action Award” from International Women in Jazz, Leonieke has already recorded 2 albums. This series takes place in Red Bank’s Riverside Gardens Park on Thursday evenings during the summer months. Weather permitting, our audience could top 500+ people. They bring chairs, blankets, picnic baskets, bottles of wine etc., for an engaging summer's eve of great music. It is a widely diverse group of all ages and cultures including families, individuals, students, and children who enjoy the free concerts in front of a picturesque setting facing the Navesink River. Jazz In The Park is curated and produced by the non-profit Jazz Arts Project in cooperation with the Red Bank Department of Parks and Recreation.

Celebrating 20 years of musical innovation and community impact, the nonprofit Jazz Arts Project is proud to announce a series of celebratory events and performances commemorating its landmark anniversary. Founded in 2006, the organization has supported jazz education and performance and is dedicated to nurturing musical talent and appreciating jazz’s rich cultural heritage.
