It’s always a hot ticket when the ever-popular Jazz Lobsters Big Band returns to the Grunin Center! Led by pianist James Lafferty, the 18-piece orchestra will perform exciting arrangements of music associated with legends such as Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Benny Goodman, Quincy Jones, and many more.

Leading the Lobster sax section on alto and clarinet is “Mrs. Lobster”, Audrey Welber-Lafferty, who can really tear up Benny Goodman’s “Sing Sing Sing”. Featured soloists include Matt Janiszewski- tenor; James Stewart- baritone sax and flute; Adam Machaskee- trombone; and Steve Varner- bass.
