Winard brings his group, “Jeli Posse” which brings swing savvy and world spiced flavor by expanding on the African traditions that have been passed down. Winard has recorded albums as both a leader and a sideman. He also has an album with “Jeli Posse” entitled, Coexist. Harper himself has played with the likes of Dexter Gordon, Betty Carter, Pharoah Sanders, and Johnny Griffin. Winard has recorded albums as both a leader and a sideman.
