Spend Saturday May 16th on the Courthouse Square enjoying one of downtown’s newest events, The Morganton Jazz Festival!

From 12-4pm, band students from across the state will participate in Jazz clinics. The winner of the clinic will then get to open for the Jazz Fest headliners!

Music for the public kicks off at 5pm with The Original King Street Jazz Band followed by the High School All Starts at 6pm. Then at 7pm we will welcome the MARSALIS BROTHERS featuring Delfeayo Marsalis, Jason Marsalis, Geoff Clapp, Rale Micic and Zack Page.

To go along with the Jazz music, New Orleans style cuisine will be available. Salt and pepper catfish, shrimp, slaw, red beans and rice, funnel cakes and fried pies! Jazz Fest 2015 is the place to be!!
