First Friday at First is thrilled to welcome Dave Potter as our featured artist on Friday evening, August 4, 2023.
A versatile, seasoned, talented drummer, Dave was a mentee of the renowned pianist Marcus Roberts, with whom he has toured. He has also toured in the United States and internationally with many of the greats: Jason Marsalis, Ellis Marsalis, Fred Wesley, and Marcus Printups among them.

Dave will headline in August with his new project as a leader, Dave Potter & Retro Groove.
