Five-time GRAMMY Award-winning jazz trumpeter Randy Brecker’s resume includes performances with everyone from Bruce Springsteen, Frank Zappa, and Lou Reed to Charles Mingus, Horace Silver, and Parliament-Funkadelic and whose musical styles encompass rock, jazz-rock, fusion jazz, Brazilian, neo-bop, world music, and more. Brecker brings his wide-ranging, highly-adaptive jazz artistry to a special evening with the Georgia State University Jazz Band led by trumpeter Dr. Gordon Vernick.
The free Pre-Show event starts at 7pm and features a performance by the Rialto Jazz for Kids All Stars.
