On Sunday, January 26, 2014 the Somers Point Jazz Society will sponsor an afternoon of jazz honoring longtime friend and supporter Bob Perkins, as he celebrates his 80th birthday and 50 years in music broadcasting.
Bob is known throughout the tri-state region as the jazz voice of WRTI in Philadelphia. He is also the recipient of the Somers Point Jazz Society 2012 Jazz Master Award.
