Ed Vezinho/jim Ward Big Band Presents "mobsters & Jazz" at Josie Kelly’s Public House

The South Jersey Jazz Society's presents the Ed Vezinho/Jim Ward Big Band and their tribute "Mobsters and Jazz". Cost is $30 for members and $35 for non members. Cost includes a themed buffet.

The evening will highlight the parallels between some of the jazz music of each era. 20's New Orleans, 30's Prohibition, 40's War World II and the birth of bebop, 50's Latin unrest, and the 60's Vegas scene and the Rat Pack.

The music of Fats Waller to Herbie Hancock will be performed.
