Cape May Jazz Vespers welcomes back saxophone master Michael Pedicin Jr. Known for his adventurous and soulful playing, Michael can blow so hot his sax is smokin’ and so mellow as to make the room feel cool even in summer. He honed his style starting as a session musician in Philly and then playing over the years with many jazz greats. He has toured with Maynard Ferguson, Pat Martino and Dave Brubeck. In Atlantic City he supported on the top names, including Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett.

Michael’s passionate and inventive playing will be pushed into new territory by some highly accomplished bandmates: Chris Simonini on keys, Andy Lalasis on bass, and Bob Shomo on drums.
