Fred Adams, a 32 year veteran lead trumpeter in the Sun Ra Centennial Arkestra Directed by Marshall Allen, will bring his Philadelphia based jazz sextet known as the Philadelphia Heritage Art Ensemble to Kelsey's, 1545 Pacific Ave., Atlantic City, NJ for a return engagement due to popular demand on Saturday, December 13, 2014 with 3 sets from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

The Philadelphia Heritage Art Ensemble features Fred Adams leading the band on trumpet with James Stewart on tenor sax, Clifford Adams on trombone, Fred Simmons on piano, Sunny Sunkit on bass, and Craig McIver on drums. This sextet is keeping the Philadelphia jazz sound of the '50s and '60s alive representing the East Coast bebop sound using arrangements by Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley, Dizzy Gillespie, Philly Joe Jones, McCoy Tyner, and Jymie Merritt along with original compositions by Fred Adams....
