Cosmic Intuition Productions presents Community Roots Revival
Saturday November 1st 3pm to 6pm @ The Rosewood Park Pavilion.
As part of the Roots & Wings Festival, this event is a ceremony honoring community members from East Austin who have gone before us as well as families who have been uprooted from East Austin. The event also honors our drummer brothers, the late Leon Anderson and Kevin Kofield.
The Ceremony will include a drum procession at the historic Rosewood Park Super Tree, tree seedling giveaways and a tree hugging demonstration.
Community Roots Revival also features live drumming, spoken word, and a special performance by Cosmic Intuition, performing music by Duke Ellington, Sun Ra, Rashah Amen, Doug & Jean Carn and more. This is a free event. ...
