David Mesquitic is a pianist, educator, and arranger based out of Texas. David is committed to the intergenerational transfer of the knowledge, history, and traditions of jazz. Mesquitic’s notable contributions include work on his first studio album in 2019 “Preamble” that includes his originals, arrangements, and special interpretations on jazz standards and American Songbook tunes. Mesquitic is currently earning his Doctor of Musical Arts in Jazz Studies at the University of Texas at Austin where he is an Instructional Assistant.
