The Jazz at St. James’ Concert Series celebrates its 21st year of world-class jazz performances by master vibraphonist Steve Nelson sponsored by The University of Texas Division of Diversity and Community Engagement and The Austin Jazz Society. All events in the concert series take place at St. James’ Episcopal Church; 1941 Webberville Rd. Tickets for each evening are $25 in advance or $35 at the door. Student tickets are $15 with a student ID. Saturday, the series continues with a Master Class at 1:00 pm conducted by Steve Nelson and the James Gilyard Trio. Jazz at St. James’ is an annual concert series dedicated to promoting the medium of jazz, and supporting jazz musicians in the diverse and welcoming community of St. James’ Episcopal Church,. All proceeds from these events go to fund the music of St. James’, which includes outreach to Austin's music community.
