The Austin Jazz Society Presents Double Vision at Monks Jazz Club

Join us for another fantastic evening of music as the Austin Jazz Society continues its collaboration with Collin Shook's excellent jazz venue, Monks. This series, MidWeek at Monks, will feature two outstanding musicians/composers playing original music. John Mills and Hehmsoth have been musically paired together for years and Utah Hamrick and Aaron Easley have provided strong support since the group's inception.

Since the early years of Austin’s jazz scene, award-winning composers John Mills and Hank Hehmsoth have been featured instrumentalists on each other’s most imaginative and challenging projects. Their newest collaboration is Double Vision, a quartet where they contribute a 50/50 share of the all-original compositions. Hank and John are joined by two more extraordinary musicians, Utah Hamrick on Bass and Aaron Easley on Drums.
