The Gil Del Bosque Quartet at Monks Jazz Club

A native of Brownsville, Texas, saxophonist and composer Gil Del Bosque earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas and a master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition to leading his own band, Gil is a member of the Adrian Ruiz Quintet, Beto y los Fairlanes, and has shared the stage with Chris Potter, Mike Clark, Boyz II Men, Huey Lewis and the News, Aaron Neville, Debbie Boone, and Olga Tanon. Gil currently teaches a studio of 40 saxophone and clarinet students, and often serves as guest artist and clinician at universities across the Southwest.
