The Nick Haywood Trio’s new Jazzhead release, Many Rivers is a continuation of Nick’s obsession with taking simple themes and allowing complexity to unfold as a collective process. The Trio have produced a recording that invites the listener to participate in the exciting musical journey that unfolds throughout. This concert features some original tunes alongside unexpected selections such as Stevie Nicks’ Landslide and The Moody Blues Nights in White Satin. There are also two improvisations by the trio that explore uncharted territory.
