Musician and experimental artist Natalia Mann has spent the last four months listening to the trees of the Cairns Botanical Gardens, in an attempt to engage them in conversation, in the language of music. Her approach is scientific, using biodata sensors to produce the tree's sounds, intuitive and highly social as she draws other artists and musicians into the project.
