Irish born, multi-award winning vocalist & composer Christine Tobin is now based in New York, having been an integral part of the London scene for many years. Her unique, rich sound was described by the Guardian as 'Tobin's 24 carat voice'. Her expressive range acknowledges finely acquired folk, jazz and 20th century classical influences. She can be junkyard blues philosopher, or snappy beat seductress, a conduit for exquisite zen-like harmonies, or reflective Americana.
Phil Robson is a multi award winning guitarist & composer, originally from the UK who relocated to the NYC area in 2015. He has led bands featuring jazz legends David Liebman, Mark Turner, Billy Hart, James Genus, Dayna Stephens & many more as well as working as a sideman with Barbra Streisand, Maceo Parker, Charles Earland, Donny McCaslin, Kenny Wheeler, The BBC big Band & a huge spectrum of internationally renowned musi- cians. Known for his musical versatility, bassist Dezron Douglas is one of the most in demand young bassists in jazz today. As a composer, educator, and bandleader, Dezron has established himself as a musician’s musician, respected not only for his talent but also for his dedication to the authenticity of the music. Born and raised in Hartford, Douglas studied at the Jackie McLean Institute of African American Music at the Hartt School of Music (University of Hartford). While in college, he co-founded The New Jazz Workshop of Hartford. Dezron is currently a member of Louis Hayes Jazz Communicators, Ravi Coltrane Quartet, Papo Vazquez Mighty Pirates, and he is also a long standing member of The Cyrus Chestnut Trio amongst many other associations within the music scene.
