The Annapolis Jazztet is one of the finest small professional jazz groups in the Washington, Annapolis, Maryland and Virginia area. The exciting variety of sophisticated original musical arrangements by music director, Vince Corozine, is reminiscent of the sound of the great Dave Pell Octet in the 1960s. A sensational repertoire of classic songs which appeal to persons of all ages, and all songs are introduced with a bit of information about each. This is further complimented by the band's vocalist, Renee Collins Georges, who sang with the great Ray Charles for six years. Renee's strong and soulful voice enables her to adapt to all jazz styles. The Annapolis Jazztet comprises some of the finest and diverse musicians in the Annapolis, DC area. From small jazz clubs to Naval Academy, West Point and the finest music universities in the US.
