As a native of Palestine Texas, Art was heavily influenced by the music of his environment which ranged from Rhythm and Blues, Pop, Rock N Roll, Country, Rap, Hip-Hop, Gospel and of course Jazz! He is a voting member of the Recording Academy (Grammys), a board member for the Red Cross of Central Maryland, member of the DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Committee for the Maryland Hall for the Performing Arts, a member of the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association, and a past Ambassador for the American Heart Association....
