Celebrate the swinging Jazz Standards and show tunes that people listened to on the radio or went out dancing to during the 1930s. Some of the best songs that comprise the Great American Songbook: from the Gershwins and Cole Porter to Richard Rodgers, Lorenz Hart.
Did you participate in the "One Book Maryland" summer read? The wonderful book, "The Boys in the Boat" highlights this time period in detail and with a lot of muscle. Come and hear how your grandparents must have partied to this music.
