The Baltimore Chamber Jazz Society continues its 2015-2016 season with a performance by the renowned pianist Orrin Evans and his Quintet. Evans has been recognized as one of the most inventive pianists of his generation. He is that rare musical force – a composer, pianist, bandleader, teacher, producer and arranger - who uses his diverse musical influences from hip hop and neo-soul to country to create an art experience comprised of the American Songbook, spirituals, iconic jazz repertoire pieces by colleagues, plus his originals.
