Jazz Trumpeter, composer, and educator Alex Norris is a Maryland native, and a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory. For the last 20 years, he has performed, toured, and recorded all over the world in a multitude of settings as both a sideman and leader. He has appeared at An Die Musik over the last several years as a member of both local groups and international touring acts. Currently residing in New York, Alex maintains an active performing schedule. Simultaneously, he commutes here to Baltimore regularly, where he is a member of the Jazz faculty at the Peabody Conservatory....
