Jeron leads this group with dynamics catered to raw improvisation. \nEric Worthy is a prominent saxophonist specializing in straight-ahead jazz. A mainstay of the regional jazz community, Eric is widely recognized for his work with The Worthy Brothers and The Transformation Quartet. His playing is characterized by a deep respect for the jazz tradition, a driving rhythmic energy, and a soulful melodic sense. Most frequently praised for the inventiveness and clarity of his musical ideas, Eric approaches improvisation as a storyteller, blending sophisticated harmonic concepts with a natural, lyrical flow. \nBaltimore native Kamonté Johnson began playing Latin and African percussion early in life, building a strong foundation in rhythm and musicality. Later in his career, he transitioned to the drum set, discovering a passion for jazz and contemporary drumming. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Music Industry from Frostburg State University, where he deepened his understanding of music production and business. He has performed in a variety of settings, including intimate jazz clubs, large concert halls, and community events, showcasing his versatility across all genres.
