About
Rockabilly Nights is a band performing songs from the early days of rock n roll. This duo was created in the spirit of those bands who revolutionized the airwaves in the early 1950's, such as the Elvis Sun session recordings which included hits like "That's Alright Mama". Other pioneers of that period were Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, & Chuck Berry. The sound was new and very distinct. By using an upright bass and a gretsch electric guitar Dennis Michaels and Chuck DeFontes have recreated the sound that gathered teenagers around jukeboxes all over America during this golden age.
