Savino Palumbo Presents No More Heroes at An Die Musik Live

No More Heroes is a piano trio led by and featuring the compositions of Baltimore pianist Savino Palumbo, as well as the talents of bassist Adam Hopkins and drummer Nathan Ellman-Bell. The three of them grew familiar with each other through playing frequently in the Baltimore jazz scene, and each has gone on to create a varied career for themselves in that music. After many years, they have re-united under a new name to bring brand new sounds back to Baltimore and beyond!

“There are a tremendous amount of major influences that have gone into shaping me as a listener and performer over the years, and they all play a role in how I understand sound; as a result, the music I've written for this group defies category. Some of these influences include Autechre, Meshuggah, Keith Jarrett, Steve Reich, Olivier Messiaen, Car Bomb, Craig Taborn, Allan Holdsworth, Radiohead, Beethoven, John Coltrane, Devin Townsend, Shirley Horn, and a legion of other unbelievable artists too numerous to continue mentioning. ...
