XD4: members have performed around the country, participating in competitions, festivals, and workshops at Berklee College of Music, Elon University, the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Stanford University, and the JENerations Jazz Festival in Dallas. Members have studied with accomplished musicians including Ran Blake, Harry Appelman, Anthony Pirog, Deric Dickens, Aaron Quinn, and Paul Bangser. The group performs a wide range of music, such as songs from Bill Evans and Jim Hall’s album “Undercurrents” to Julian Lage’s “Modern Lore.” www.xd4jazz.com
Brad Linde's Team Players celebrates the release of their 3rd album, "Smells Like Team Spirit" with a tour featuring music inspired by bowling and space exploration. In addition to new music written by the entire team, the quartet reimagines songs by Jimmie Haskell, Bent Fabric, Albert Ayler, and old chestnuts associated with Thelonious Monk.
